Help figuring out carbine stock stamps

I definitively think that Mr Eastwood missed my point. I remember when I first started looking at Carbines, I couldn't find any marks at all. BQ led me by the hand through the whole process.

IBM carbines are really great examples in any condition. I've never even seen one up close. They were well made and innovative, quality being the first consideration. I'd love to have one with a fabricated trigger housing.

DaveHH, I had to laugh after reading the exchange. I don't even think Mr. Eastwood realized what he had said and meant no harm by it in any way. Pretty funny though. I find too many forums have no sense of humor and people are offended too easily. Have to say, you took it well, and with a grain of salt....well done sir.

In responce to getting roughed up after joining a forum: a few years ago when I joined a firearms forum [ don't remember which one ] I got a lot of flack because of my 'name', "shadycon". They insinuated that I was a excon and shady charactor, not to be trusted. I told them what it really meant and the attitude changed and I'm still there. GK

Sorry guys, I'm in the middle of moving and we are busy at work with year end orders. My mind is all over the place. Sometimes I post at work (like now) and I get interrupted in the middle of a post. Then when set back down I find I've lost my train of thought on the subject. I'm a thirty-five year old native Texan that works in a marine metal fabrication shop with welders and machinists. I've got pretty thick skin.

We have a higher standard of behavior here. Our moderators are gentlemen who demand that we act as gentlemen and it works. They will smash your toe with a hammer if they feel it is necessary, but rarely do. We are self policing to a point, but they have to remind us from time to time. Eastwood is totally cool and will fit in with this bunch quite well.
