    IHC Garand value

    I have a IHC garand that I am looking to see what the value would be. I understand that there appears to be a great deal of overlap in the parts for IHC rifles. Thanks up front for all the help and advice. I had a friend spec out the rifle for me and the information follows:

    I don't know where your trying to sell it but in the South Alabama/Georgia area that would bring $1200-$1500 depending on the up close specifics.

    Post a photo of the receiver heel showing the lettering (cover part of the serial if you like). There were three or four variations in the receiver heel markings ("Gap Letter", "Arrowhead", "Postage Stamp", etc.) and some are worth quite a bit more than others.
