    Springfield Parts

A few years ago, I bought a box of parts on one of the internet gun sales. Theses are mostly small parts; springs, pins, etc., although there are a couple of 1903 trigger guards, some milled followers and a floor plate. They are almost all in the brown storage envelopes with the part number on them. An example: "1005-513-5890 CATCH FLOOR PLATE". The original order was also in the box, although in tattered condition. The parts were shipped from the Rock Island facility in 1967 to Texas.

I don't imagine there is much interest here since this forum is geared mostly toward obtaining or swapping for correct parts and these are just parts with little provenance.

A friend wanted to correct his Smith Corona so I found a few parts for him, so now I have a Remington A3 trigger guard and bolt.
