1903 Springfield Grenade launcher repro or real?

Are Springfield grenade launchers being reproduced as well? Ive asked for more pics of this one but I thought to put it out to you guys too. I don't really know about markings or anything.

    Thanks

I don't see any marking on this early style M1icon launcher. All of the early short door M1 launchers were made by Knapp-Monarch. M1 launchers have been reproduced a few years ago. A run of less than 50, 7 of which were the old style. The repros are identified as such by markings on the end of the tube INSIDE the body. Here is a real M1 of the latter type (long door).

So it seems to be a reproduction then, if they were all made by Knapp Monarch then it is certainly missing the distinctive markings.

How does one go about finding one of these? I've been looking for over a year and have had ZERO luck.

Roy, the 50 or so reproductions made and sold as repros a few years back had KM markings..in addition to the internal 'reproduction' identifier markings. Your sample seems to have no markings at all. I'll try and attach a photo from the reproduction maker's site.
