    1944 Smith-Corona Model 1903-A3 "Springfield"

Recently acquired this WW2 gem. Serial number indicates January 1944 production date. It retains all its original correct Smith-Corona components and all stock cartouches (some are faint from handling but still visible), the bore is gorgeous, overall finish is still great. The rifle has been used but has been taken care of.

    Enjoy the pictures!

    Question

Is the sling an original WWII vintage? It looks like the real deal but the condition almost seems too nice.

I have a similar late 1943 Smith Corona 1903A3 and have been searching for a sling for it without luck so far.

Yes Sir, it is in fact a WW2 Milsco 1944 vintage sling. It is in very good shape, with the exception of a small mouse bite mark.
