Serial # 1,480,289 puts the receiver in 1934 and the barrel (also SA) is dated 12-35. The stock is straight, 2 reinforcing bolts, finger grooved with a boxed SA over SPG on the side and a circle "P" (no serifs) firing proof. Handguard is period and matching. The bolt has "ns" on top of the handle and a punchmark and "5" on the underside.

She looks largely unmessed with. Not much wear. Does not have a Hatcher Hole. But she is sporting a few early parts (front sling swivel is split for example). The buttplate is course checkered.

Mine is sn 1479546 without Hatcher hole and barrel is dated SA 9-35

I have # 1485430 with Hatcher hole and an SA 3-36 star gauged barrel.

Nice rifle, mine is 1474895. No hatcher hole, barrel is SA-10-44 and the fixed base is the round type all riding in a pre war "C" stock. Its nice too know mine should have had mid-35 dated barrel.
