Nice British WWII, 1944, No. 4(T) Lee-Enfield Sniper. Matching, F/S on GB

Looks like a very nice one and very reasonable priced for a total all matching one including scope and mount. If I didn't have a couple, including an all matching one also, I would have went for it.

FS -British WWII, 1944, No. 4(T) Lee-Enfield Sniper. Matching, Nice!!

Curious why the post was moved. It's not mine but one I saw on GB's f/s that I thought someone here might be interested in. Thought it was worth a discussion on it if there was any problem with the rifle. Ray

Nothing wrong Ray .. thanks for letting everyone know about the auction ...

It was moved here to the Commercial Auction and Sale Gossip where it best fits, but a trailing link was also left in the Lee Enfield Forum, so it shows in both forums now for better coverage ..

    Regards,
    Doug

    You're welcome Ray ...

I should have mentioned that besides wider coverage, another advantage to moving (with trailing link) a thread, is that all responses from either end up in a single contiguous set of posts, so they aren't scattered amongst different referenced threads...

    Regards,
    Doug

Nice rifle. Are those casting markings to the top of the mount? Any other issues with this one I might have missed?

Understood. I was looking at the bolt numbering and wondering if it is ok?

Every thing looks ok to me unless some one has another thought on something. Ray
