    Vickers-Pedersens coming up for Auction

I came across milsurp.com while searching for Vickers-Pedersen. There is a very informative article on this web site in reference to it...

While browsing for possible acquisitions, I came across two of these rifles coming up for auction where the serial numbers are within a small range referenced in the milsurp.com article as being advertised for sale in the 50's.

I thought this was really cool to see and would be great to have the advertisement as well. Being able to associate some kind of historical detail or paper trail to a firearm gives me goose bumps and is why I collect.

The two coming up for auction will exceed my budget, especially with all the auction fees. It may appeal to someone here. One of these would nicely compliment a Garand collection as initially being a competitor to the M1icon Garand.
