    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.     That wire stock would be unpleasant to shoot, and like many chassis systems, the new stock ruins any capability in smooth and lightweight handling.

    When in doubt, add bulk and picatinny rails= modern gun?

    Really it's only half finished, it needs a bipod, red and green laser, a 3 MOA red dot, front grip, one or more flashlights, and a Bren magazine conversion.

    I don't like wire stocks as in hot weather they get very hot and prevent getting a good cheek weld on the stock.

    That's what the Tactical Paracord wraps for. Highly tactical cheek welds.
