Finally got a .45! Well, kind of..

Girlfriend gave me a .45 for Valentine's Day.
Was told it was a bring back. You guys know, buy the story AND the gun, right?
Anyone got ammo recommendations for this one? Cleaning tips?

The barrel seems to be pretty worn out, and droops after a couple of shots.

Quite nice present, is made of chocolate?
I always tell my collector mates to put originality at the top of their priority list, originality isn't something that can be restored. I've never seen a 1911 I didn't like.

Sooooooooo nice. But since being recently diagnosed as diabetic, I can just dream about eating it. They say when the craving stops, chocolate tastes horrible afterwards! Enjoy.......

Don't feel bad, I haven't had the heart to eat it!

It's a bit like me that when I buy a brand new gun, at theast at the beginning I feel sorry to use it at the range, I'm not talking about a GLOCK obviously.
I agree that it's absolutely stupid but it's true.
