    IO Icut Highwood Rescue

First I hope all of our friends down in Texas are safe and sound.

This collector grade stock came in a while back for repairs. It was broken and fixed wrong. I had to take it apart and start over. It is now ready to go back on it's rifle.

    Best Regards.....Frank

    Nice job.

High and Dry Frank, I can't say that to others though! Terrible rainy, flooding mess here in Spring, TX. As always your wood working skills are top notch !

Hi Rusty, we are glad you are safe. It was terrible news out of Fort Hood. Praying for the families and the heartache they will be going through. God bless our soldiers.
I have another stock that I just finished that I will post later today. It is a nice high wood S'G'.
    Stay Safe & Best Regards.....Frank

Dang, I'm jealous, wish I had your wood skills. What is it soaking in if I may ask ? Look forward to seeing the S'G' redo, I have one that needs help.

    Thanks Chris

Chris, thank you for the compliment. The stock came to me after it was repaired wrong. The pieces were put together misaligned and the glue set. I had to take it apart and start over. The picture of it in the tank is of the stock going through a "gentle" boil to soften up the water based glue. I have been repairing gun stocks of all kinds for over 40 years. These kinds of repairs do take some experience.

    Best Regards.....Frank
