    Words fail me

7.62 Lee Enfield No 4 magazine - SSAA Gun Sales

If the link doesn't work - see below for sellers description and the price!!!

7.62 Lee Enfield No 4 Magazine
    $1,000.00
    MAKE:LEE ENFIELD
    MODEL:NO 4

Words fail me, but as has been said before things are worth what someone is willing to pay for them, but i think in this case, the old "tell im hes dreamin" applies.
Makes my recent acquisition of 7.62 convert with CR141A65 stamped mag for $450 seem ok, especially since it now shoots sub MOA after i repaired the draws

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. A mistake surely?? I had a spare example a few years back and couldn't give it away .. swapped it for three really good SMLE mags in the end.

Saw two No 4's at the last gunshow, well I saw a Few No 4's but one was priced at $1200 Can. and the other was $1500.

Nowt to set them apart from the others on tables. nothing startling about them. Just some greedy sod I think, looking for a sucker.

$1000 about double the going rate in Australiaicon I think. Might be OK if there was a rifle attached to it.

Expensive, particularly when there are at least two viable "non-No 4" alternatives much cheaper.

Not likely a mistake. I think we all go back and look at our own listings at least 5-10 times over during the process.
