    1943 Remington M1903A3 - Help Identifying

I recently purchased a 1943 Remington M1903A3 and I'm hoping this great community can help me identify it more-accurately. Specifically, there are some odd markings throughout besides ones that clearly indicate most if not all parts are Remington-made.

Regarding the stock cartouche (or lack thereof) I'm curious as to why there are no arsenal, inspector or "cross canon" cartouches present. Could this rifle have been a bring back from the war? Could it have not needed rebuilding and therefore no arsenal or inspector cartouche was necessary? I believe the stock to be original, based on what I can see for myself, but any confirmation would be greatly appreciated!

How likely is it that this rifle is correct and/or original? What would you estimate the value is in dollars in today's market?

I've taken as detailed pictures as I can! See below ...

    Thank you in advance!

Looks to me like a rebuilt. Sanded stock and replaced bolt.

The stock has been sanded to the point that the original FJA was sanded off. Could be arsenal rebuild could be prior owner. Value around here probably $550-$600.
