    Paul,
The trouble some misinformed person has gone to, to misinform others always makes me smile?? is that the right word?

Apologies for the delay responding to info requests, sometimes you just have too much other stuff going on.

    Doctor1

Rifle Serial A1103 was converted on the 19th June 1972 and upon completion was despatched to store at Donnington.

Rifle serial Q36409 doesn't appear in the records I have access too.

    Hello Simon,
Gonna hit you with a few numbers all at once if that's ok, my rifles are...

    L42A1 - U32392
Enforcer - 280, it's magazine is No 367 and scope No 209. I think they're all Kent numbers, can you confirm that
I've also got a spare Pecar No 192

    Many Thanks

Rifle No 367 (and hence magazine No 367) is shown in the Sals ledger as "To be collected" (with no particular force identfied) a bit of investigation shows that it was used by Derby Police.

According to my records - Enforcer No 367 was 'living' quite close to you in Kent a couple of years ago - it may be that he has your magazine, as you have his.

Why not start a new thread asking for "The Owner Of Enforcer No 367"
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

On reflection something seemed a bit familiar about the owner of Enforcer 367 living not too far away from me! so I rechecked the number of my mag.......... it's actually 376 !!!
The owner of 367 is a good friend of mine and I know exactly where he lives. Doh!
