    Beretta 38/42

I recently was asked to identify some old milsurps from a family estate. Of interest was a Beretta 38/42 . After advising the owners of the ramifications of owning such a firearm, provisions were made to dispose of it. Can anyone provide a good source of info on this particular Beretta, i.e. disassembly, production history, quantities, etc?

Where are you located? You may be able to sell it if it's a registered NFA gun in the US or a registered FA/CA gun in Canadaicon.

If it was transferrable, I'd have been all over it. Been in the attic ever since it was "brought back". I've suggested stripping it for the parts value. That's why I'm looking for info.
