$117 is a little pricey! It will be interesting to hear what you think after you see it.

117 isn't alot really. When i did my CD on th e1907 i spent the best part of 4months 12 hours a day working on it, traveling getting pictures, putting it together etc. I self published but got 100 disks proffesionally done and jackets printed. I sold them at 30 each (except to contributors) and when i sell the last one I think i made about 0.5cents per hour It costs a lot of money to get a quality printing job done on even a small run, to make enough to bring th eprice to a level that people will pay you have to print a large number 1000+ and pay up front normally. I cannot imagine many people making a living on writing our books, at least at much over minimum wage. Janes which is printed every year and is a quarenteed buy by most government agencies etc, (probably severla 1000's) costs over 500 at my last look. If the book saves you buying one fake, you can get a return of 3 or 4 times your outlay.

I got the book today, stopped in loo on the way and leafed through it, stopped looking when I went numb! there is that much in it. Book looks to be very very in depth into the Kragicon, it is full of reproductions of original letters, documents and period photographs. It does not just show the blade, but all its variations, scabbards, frogs, etc. Definitly a book to have if you collect the Krag, and a very nice addition to the library, i shall look forward to many hours of reading.
