    samco swede snipers

Its funny SAMCO still lists swede snipers forsale. I have read very mixed reviews on these rifles, after you have it imported it and if theres a problem how the heck do you get it serviced, furthermore I have seen a few rifles on gunsamerica anyone bought anything through this site.

So guys make my life easy anyone got a swede sniper forsale? I know my Tikka and Husky both in6.5 will shoot circles around a dated sniper rifle, but I have to much surplus ammo sitting around not to get one.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I can't speak for Samco's, but I go to Sarcos on a weekly basis, they are very local. They have a few on the floor that are in nice shape, but, not mint. I also believe they have more in the warehouse as well as a shipment sitting in US customs. As for parts, it's anyones guess, once the big guy's are out we are all at the mercy of E-Bay. I am also looking to get one by years end. I have the rest of Sweds and couldn't consider the collection complete without one. I have never shot one that wouldn't shoot straight. I even have one of the Germanicon made type 1 M38's it too is a tack driver. I'm going to build a fat barrel 6.5 X 55 on a Spanish receiver I have down in the locker, just to see if it's the round or the gun, maybe both?-SDH

I have a dealer friend who goes to Samco in person on a regular basis, they had decent rifle for a while but are now left with guns that have been pieced back together from the left overs. He bought and sold many in the past, but he won't buy anymore.
