    Question Leather Scabbard

I have a 1943 Boyds leather scabbard for an M1icon. It's the type that was on the side of a jeep (or horse) connected with leather straps. The one I have is in excellent shape with all straps and the brass slide. Anybody have an idea what it might be worth?

Depends on condition and completeness, but usually around $100. See http://cgi.ebay.com/WW2-U-S-Leather-...1%7C240%3A1318

If you want to sell it please send me a PM. Thanks!

The scabbard is complete and in much better shape than the one on ebay. If there is a drawback with it it is a little stiff. The scabbard has been well taken care of and has had numerous coats of leather preservative on it.

Well the repop scabbards usually sell in the 70 to 100 dollar range so I would imagine the actual value would be much higher than that.
