    Nice NZD carbine. From the pics though it looks as though the butt is a replacement and you have a regular cavalry carbine handguard. The original extended all the way to the nosecap.

    As for this month's purchases, picked up this little beauty. It came to me in a scant stock that was split at the recoil lug Luckily I was able to find this original and correctly cartouched FJA S stock You can still faintly make out the ordnance wheel to the left of it too.

    Now everything is zen!

    The brown patches in the pics are some stubborn old crusted on cosmolene in a few places - not rust

    I can no longer keep my peace, this month I have a few things comming in. Ill post pics once they arrive.

    -1911 with holster both dated 1916

    -g43 ac44 vopo

    -No4MkII UF55 (identical to the one Headdamge just sold on the EE)

    -and lastly a 1924 dated swedish mauser of some sort, this one just tagged along with the others. I swear, it followed me home.

    Sounds like you had a good month, Sigismund. I'd love to see pics of the 1911 and the G43.
