    Unbelievable...I had heard that they used to have a hard time giving these things away, I guess it's true.

    I can remember when they were 19.95 & 24.95 w/o scopes, and 79.95 unissued in their cases, complete except for the spotting scope.

    That rifle I sold Angel last year came from an old fellow in Regina. He paid $175 for it in the late 70s. Didn't look like he shot it much.

    Here is a pic of an ad that is pasted to the inside lid of my spare #15 sniper chest.

    They certify the complete setup as a $280 value. The chest is worth more than that these days.

    Edited to add: I just realised that these two ads are form the same supplier. You can see that the #4Ts were already starting to climb up even back then. They had appreciated $5 by the time of the second ad.
