    Anyone know the size of the threads on the ramrod for a M1841 Mississippi rifle? Seems like quarter/course but doesn't cut as deep as whats on there.

    Dixie Gun workw. I think that early US arsenal firearms of that period, used metric threads as I recall from reading DGW catalog that the 1860's series of CW firearms used a metric nipple.
