    A4 Stock

3 years ago I received a greek return A3 with a very nice A4 scant stock. Nice bolt cut out and clear, readable acceptance stamps. Has EB/RIA rebuild stamp. I am 95% a shooter, so I'm thinking of getting the CMPicon wood set for the A3 and making a little cash on the collector stock. Is this a good idea and what is the value of the A4 stock? I like shooting the C stock much better. JT

I would suspect your stock would be worth between $400. and $800. to the right party. I know that's a wide range and it will ultimately depend on the condition and all the markings (subinspectors stamps). Put another way if it was mine i would not take less than $400. and expecting more than $800. would probably be overreaching.

    Hope this helps.

I almost 'never' argue' with JGaynor and I'm not doing so now except!! - No pictures?? - for a Greek stock?? - Estimated value of $400.00 to $800.00..???

Jim had to have been kidding!!

Mike Nope! If its decent AND has good marks (all of them!) AND a good, machine made bolt notch I think $400. to $800. is about right. It would be nicer w/o the rebuild stamp but hey you can't have everything!

    Regards

Ok..I guess I've been otta touch with them lately. I've got a NOS replacement A4 stock (Post WW2) with no stampings. Maybe I should put that up on eBay.
