Format: 116 pages with multiple plates
Note: After you click on images to ENLARGE them, you may find they automatically size smaller in your browser's window making them harder to view. TM 9-1270 U.S. Rifles, Cal .30, M1903, M1903A1, M1903A3, M1903A4 Snipers
This manual was scanned at 300 dpi and saved in uncompressed .tff format before conversion to PDF file format, so the pages are as clear as possible and blow up (zoom larger) very well. This manual is the description and rules for the management of the United States Rifle, Cal .30, Model 1903. It is an official war department publication, originally printed in 1942.
It's a technical manual which covers all aspects of operating and handling the U.S. Rifles, Cal .30, M1903, M1903A1, M1903A3, M1903A4 Sniper, Sight Telescope M73B1 (Weaver No. 330 C), Bayonet, M1905, Bayonet M1, Scabbard bayonet M3, Scabbard bayonet M1910, Scabbard bayonet M7, Sling gun M1907, Sling gun M1, and Cover front sight. It includes stripping and assembling, plus detailed maintenance and repair diagnostics.
Collector's Comments and Feedback:
1. As per the Copyright Act, copyright in a work exists for the life of the author/creator, the remainder of the calendar year in which he is deceased, plus fifty years after the end of that calendar year.
For Crown copyrighted works, there is a slight difference. Section 12 of the Copyright Act stipulates:
“12. Without prejudice to any rights or privileges of the Crown, where any work is, or has been, prepared or published by or under the direction or control of Her Majesty or any government department, the copyright in the work shall, subject to any agreement with the author, belong to Her Majesty and in that case shall continue for the remainder of the calendar year of the first publication of the work and for a period of fifty years following the end of that calendar year.
