Notes of lectures & practice of sniping - Col T F Fremantle (c.1916)
I have been searching for a copy of this book for some time now. Have called pretty much every book shop that deals with gun books. Have checked with the Royal armouries and IWM and even the British library!! Seem this book must be as rare as anything. Could some kind soul here point me to a copy please?

It's ringing a bell, and quite recent too, big problem is, I've been fast flicking through incredible amounts of paperwork and digital archives lately, my head begins to spin.

Library from Hythe presumably went to Warminster. Any bits left over Peter?
You could try Lord Cottesloe's descendants.
While you're at it, see if you can find the paper Hesketh-Prichard wrote with Col. Langford-Lloyd in 1915 that was never published. His descendants probably have it.

No go, references were to peicemeal documents and excerpts from The Book on the Rifle and Notes on the Rifle, as both these publications are readily available, I cannot help you.

Not sure if it is the same person, but Wolfe Publishing reprinted a series of books between 1990 and 2000.
One was "The Book of the Rifle" by T.F. Fremantle.

It is the same person, [Thomas Francis Fremantle, 3rd Lord Cottesloe, d.1956] but The Book Of The Rifle is well-known and not the one he's looking for.
