Could be an original Colt no marking or an MSCo which is marked on the inside of the rear spine at the bottom. You'd need to strip it to see. The lips show a long life and have been tampered with...
had a friend check his Thompson book by Tracy Hill, he found the following 1) there are some early Colt 20rd unmarked 2) Some Sparks-Whittington 20rd were not marked 3) 4th production of USCO 20rd
magazines not marked.
Also there is an unmarked 20rd Japanese made magazine for a non gun which appears to be a very close copy and will fool you

aside for this 20rd he has the following that are marked 3) SWCO, 4) Seymour Products 1) Auto Ord (appears to be a early version, he thought WWII era, 1) Sealed that is wrapped in VCI with barley readable writing. Can you recommend a source to get a fair vale?

I wonder if it's an early original, not marked at all? They didn't mark them at the beginning as they were the only ones making mags for their own gun...Colt...
The photos don't show the hole on the back of the mag but if it it not round but slightly oval, it is a repro Japanese made mag I believe for the repro Thompson they made, Ray
back hole...
