if anyone interested, i have tried to obtain another wt for new ar, and have found that Brownells and champions choice and others have not been able to obtain the wts..
i talked to Greg Martin at this place (manufacturer of record for these things) and there have been some changes, and he is now providing the wts direct

What ia a wt
abreviation for weight wt. 3.5lbs of lead in the stock
Maybe Ray Vin still has them. I used his in the past.
I just use a plastic bag filled with lead shot in my AR cavity and it works great and you can change the weight real easily.
I tried that. It feels like a deadblow, with a distinct (and annoying) shwish-SWISH of the shot as you fire, no matter how I tried to pack it in there. You could sacrifice the stock and epoxy it in maybe. Check all the vendors on AR15.com and I'll bet somebody has them.... H.Quote:
