The number looks way too high for a UK marking, T in UK is normally Territorial but dont know TH

Why would the number be too high? The crossed out number would be a rack mark and the other, the rifle serial number. They certainly made enough SMLE's that that number would not be odd.
Numbers on UK 1907 rarely go over three digits, the TH unit would no be more than a few hundred men at most, the rack numbers are usually by unit not all encompassing for the whole series as then it woudl run into the millions
