Saw this today - the chap firing is one of my schoolfriends grandad - Major Robert Turp. At the end of the war he was tasked with travelling round Germany / occupied countries to all the arms factories to find any interesting designs they were working on. After that he worked for Sterling, then became an arms dealer. He wrote a book called Gunrunner : The Confessions of an Arms Dealer' which is worth a read.

Another shooting friend of mine had a Para Pistol - it broke and Maj Turp arranged a free repair via Manroy Engineering. I should have asked him for an apprenticeship!!

It reveals that the Mk7 A4/C4 was originally the Mk7 A3/C3 which had a 3" barrel.
The text and photos indicate that this is not a misprint.

The whited out and handwritten in 4" barrel lengths in the brochure seem to indicate an early copy.

This appears to be previously un published information.

No problem at all - at one time I had piles of different catalogues, but kept this one as it was from Sterling...

I always found the tippex amendments and the fact that the 'silver plated' SMG was just a B&W copy of the gold plated picture quite amusing!

Note the eye and ear protection.

Note the rearward facing cocking handle too. Ooooops! I think that this videa was shown and picked over to the Nth degree a couple of years ago
