Forum fatigue ?? Not for me.
Hi guys. Ray is probably on the money. When I started with carbines several years ago, I could barely field strip and clean the Underwood I have owned for 30 plus years. I didn't know that that "thing" which went into the recoil spring was called nor that it was a great tool. Thanks to Brian, Loren and others on this forum, I can now change out and then index a new barrel, change out front and rear sights, replace all bolt parts and trigger housing parts etc etc.
So the basics that so many new owners need to know, I have learned and therefore have fewer questions than early on. This is probably the case for many other once "new" owners. As to missing the controversy which sometimes emerged, I don't need that and am glad to see it go West. I enjoy this group and thank each of you who have been so helpful in my education.
Let's all continue to make this an interesting in informative gathering place. Good shooting.
Best to all.
