Just purchased a BSA #4. The front sight blade is positioned a little to the left of center. It's tight and the previous owner feels it shot well. Should I center it or is it possible it is already appropriately adjusted?

Just purchased a BSA #4. The front sight blade is positioned a little to the left of center. It's tight and the previous owner feels it shot well. Should I center it or is it possible it is already appropriately adjusted?
Shoot it first, then decide. It may have been like that in service.

That was my plan. Thought I'd bring the adjustment tools if required.
