Nice gun for a field grade. The frame looks original to me; the ramp has the horizontal striations I would expect from the Colt factory, & the burnished grip screw bushing stake marks can't be faked. I need to look at the inspector initials & ordnance seal with a 10X jewelers loupe, as burnishing is often just inside part of the stamping.
The barrel markings are correct for late production (1945). Of course, it was originally blue, but the extra link pin staking mark was applied after it was parkerized at the arsenal.
