#4 MK1 long branch in .410????

Has anybody seen one like this before?

There were plenty of these doing the rounds in England but they seem to have dried up now

I have a very nice Enfield converted to .410 in 1935. It has not been converted modern commercial .410. I see them at gun shows in this area, eastern NC. The price is usually $400 to 500.

I have seen plenty of #1 MK 3's converted to .410,but never a #4 Mk1.

I'd like to try one with .410 slugs myself. Probably do just fine too...

It is probably one of the rifles converted in England to .410 to allow purchase on a shotgun certificate. They even made up BREN guns in .410.

Those would be neat if they fed and worked OK with three ball buckshot.
