I saw photos and an article today on the new Savage straight-pull rifle chambering modern cartridges such as the 308 Winchester. This new rifle is call the Savage Impulse Predator and has an adjustable bolt handle, bolt locks with six hardened steel bearings.
The straight pull is still alive !
