If it's POF ammo then be advised I used '67 POF MkVII and it was like a black powder flintlock click -------- bang -------- confetti & smoke out the muzzle -------- where did that go.
I had so many hang fires it just destroyed my confidence only used 64 rounds then started reloading but the POF was cheap $15/Aud for 32 rounds (Got what I paid for.)

That Kirkee ammo shown by the OP in the 1940 & 41 dated packages would be considered highly desirable as collectors' ammo by many here in the UK. And Living History buffs love to fill their bandoliers with the 'right stuff', (although it would have to be pulled first).

Picked up a couple of cases of 1944 Greenwood & Bailey back in the day. Still have one unopened. The other was rife with hang fires or outright duds, so now supplies projectiles. Who knows where it sat for decades, but it didn't do it any favors.
