I thought my Ross was a Mk III but now I'm not sure. The front sight has no hood and is clearly designed not to. I'm posting a couple of pictures and perhaps some one with far more knowledge than I have, which would be almost anyone, could tell me something about it.

There one difference. Mine does not have that British War Office rear sight. It has the Cooey rear sight. I suppose some smart person could have changed it out.
