Interesting Aussie

There is an interesting Aussie up for auction on Gunbrokers. A mix-master '42 Lithgow with a '41 laminated butt. I did not know that laminated furniture was experimented with down there. Does anyone have an example that has a laminated forend also?

I do not want to break any rules by posting a link, but for those who want to look at her, just type lithgow laminated into the search engine.

I know the seller and if possible I'll have a look at it this weekend then post details.
