A buddy of mine just bought a Garand that has a small maltese cross stamped on the bottom of the stock below the first band. I think this mark was the post war german army property mark. I've seen posts about this mark on the old jouster forum but I can't remember exactly what the mark means. Can anyone refresh my 63 year memory? Thanks!
