Does anyone know how far the windage change is per click. It seems to be a good distance on mine probably around an inch + a wee bit. This is quite annoying as I'm trying to shoot at 2 inch targets at 100 yards and i can never quite get it bang in the center. Same question goes for elevation
1 moa elevation, 1 moa windage
The No.32 Mk.3 Adjustment for windage, and elevation is 1 MOA (minuet of angel).
For example: -
1 click @ 100 yrds = 1 inch
1 click @ 200 yrds = 2 inches
1 click @ 300 yrds = 3 inches
It could be a MkI
1 click@100=2" etc.
You may need to move the pointer.

Actually, the Mk I elevation was in 50 yd. increments. That or my mind is going.....
Looking at that picture of MJ1 struggling with the special tool and a Mk2, does anyone actually have a pair of the special plier type monstrosities that performed the same job, only worse!
A far better way was to leave the lead screw nipped up 'sort of tight' then just zero the thing using the drums, as per normal (remember to treat the grat as a foresight, with the formula foresight INTO the error, drummed into our brains as young Armourers...).
Once rifle zeroed to sniper, hold lead screw in position with TRUE special tool shown in No32 tele sight book and swing drum back to the range he zeroed it in at!
SIMPLE. Time using the crap tools, all morning. Time using Armourers tools, 10 minutes. Rest of the morning could then be spent thus. A competition amongst the snipers and Armourers shooting at the plain BACK of the target to see who gets the highest score and the pool money or b) putting the world to rights!
I've used Mr. Laidler's method for over twenty years, but its still a bit of a pain compared to the upgraded drums. Having a buddy available to either adjust or hold things steady is also a great stress reducer!
