It's Federal Eagle stuff, bare lead without copper. Should I keep it set aside for a REALLY rainy day and acquire better stuff to prevent lead fouling?
Thanks,
Bob

Leading is very rare with any .22 rimfire ammo. The copper or brass wash on some varieties is nothing but a sales gimmick so the rubes will think they're getting something fancy. It's unlikely the Federal Eagle stuff is actually "bare". If it isn't greased, it's undoubtedly wax-coated. That's all you need at normal rimfire pressures and velocities.
Unless it is particularly accurate in your firearm, it is not exceptional. Shoot it and enjoy it. JMHO. Sincerely. BruceV.
Thanks, guys.
