Lithgow SMLE FTR 1958

Just bought a Lithgow 1920 smle from an ex-park ranger in Tasmania.

The rifle was FTR'd in 1958 at Lithgow, a new barrel and bolt head fitted, and looks like the furniture on the fore-end is newish.
Spoke to the chap and he said the barrel and bolt are "like New".
A fine addition to my collection.
Cost a little over $500 all up, but I think worth it. :D

thats a very handsome rifle , has a bit of nice history and it sounds to be in excelent shooting condition , should perform well for you
