End of Ishapore .303 No1 MkIII*Production

Does anyone know when Ishapore stopped production of the .303 No1 MkIII*rifle? I have just purchased one dated 1971. Thank you.

marks67rover, I've seen an '87 and read about an '88. Workmanship at that point seems nothing to write home about, however.
