Do a search for "ross rifle". Some dimbulb has broken a complete Mk. IIIB Ross for parts. I have sent a message to him asking if there are any marks on the stock. I would hate to think that it is one of the IIIB rifles that went from Canada to Britain to the White Russians, to the Reds, to the International Brigades, to the Fascists, and then surplus from Spain to the US. I will be ill if it turns out that there is a Barcelona Arsenal mark on the stock.
If anyone needs Ross parts, especially metal for the 1905 Mk. II, let me know. I have the world's supply. Also a large quantity of Mk. III (1910) but nothing like 1905. Sorry, no stocks for sale......I do have stocks, but not for sale right now. I'm looking for a couple 1905 Mk. II's cut down's or barreled actions to put into these stocks as they are marked to the Regiment from my home.....
Well, a couple of parts didn't sell, but laddie got US$370.53 for the parts. I think a complete IIIB Ross would sell for more than that.
