Please rate Roggio for me?
Can anyone give me some feedback on the quality/reputation of the Roggio AR-15 stripped receiver made out of Fayetteville NC? I picked one up a few months ago and was going to put together a lower assembly from parts and match it with a Rock River CAR-A4 upper.
As far as I can see, it does seem to have a somewhat inferior park job, especially on the inside surfaces of the mag well, which has a speckled appearance....is that normal?
Thanks for any and all responses

worked for an outfit 25 yrs ago that Tefloned firearms
, you will get some wear on the teflon even if it is applied correctly, but for what it's worth, no rust or corrosion ever delveloped (on any of my personal weapons that I had done back then) where there was wear. After coating & baking the finish on it, we liberally applied petroleum jelly to the surfaces of the still hot metal.
We had a Browning HiPower(duty gun)9mm, a Charter .44 Bulldog stainless, a rem mod 870 12ga riotgun and a Colt CAR15 tefloned. No signifigant wear on any, and the Browning 9mm pistol has had around 6000 rds thru it, before I retired it. It did have minor highpoint holster wear, but never rusted. FWIT, we did coat several firearms for the USMC @ Quantico, and told the guys how we did it, and what stock #'s of Teflon were used for various colors.
I know nothing of this outfit that made your lower receiver, or anything on their quality control.
hope this helps.
