Do not walk, but run away from that one as fast as you can. The fact that it came from Riverbank Armory should tell you all you need to know.
He is selling way below what he paid for it! Being a fake might have some thing to do with that.
They must have bought a 50 gal drum of that stain. All their stocks have that same color.

I feel this seller has found out it is a fake and is trying to recover some of his investment. But why the heck would he admit he bought it from Riverbank? It is already up to $186 and has not reached the reserve yet. It seems this guy George never gives up, does he? Not a good close up, but it looks like his alignment is getting better.
Bargain price might be $30-50 and you try to sand off that artwork. Then put it on a shooter. At least it is a high wood.
The market (money) for hard to find items is what drives this kind of business. I don't see how it can be stopped. It seems there is always a buyer for the items.
Education is a way to slow it down. :bash:
My bet is the stock is fake also. I would probably take the stock if someone gave it to me. It might make good fire starter wood for the upcoming campfires at deer camp, if it's even worth that.
