RMC To Inland I Cut?
Granted this baby needs some work. But does it look to anyone else that this could be a early RMC transfer to Inland stock?
Like some others we've seen.
Picture #4 shows what appears to be the Inland size CC.
Picture #5 looks like a possible serifed I in the bottom of the slingwell.
Picture #10 shows the RMC stamp in the well.
Picture #6 shows the circled P proof on the bottom of the pistol grip....found on early Inland used stocks, but not Rock Ola.

Marcus and David,
What do you think?

Charlie, it sure looks like one. The acceptance stamp appears to be Inland. It's not large enough for the early large QHMC and theirs is almost always located more closely to the I-cut. The I on mine is marked below RMC stamped in the sling well and is at a slant. It's difficult to see one in the photo on my computer, but I would bet your hunch is correct. It's interesting to note that these were supplied 10-43 and is proof that Rock-Ola used I-cut high wood at least to this period.

I asked Carl, the seller to see if he could clean up the slingwell better and pass along better pictures. His wife replied she'd pass the word when he got back from a short trip.
