Purely a guess, WRA because of the taper on the feet?
Tool room
No holes
Springfield armory and special because of no holes.
This is a early Winchester "No Hole" band so everyone was half right. The underside has features of early Winchesters to the cut from the groove to the edge so SA was ruled out. These are super rare and even some of the most seasoned collectors have never seen one of these in person.

What are they worth? What serial number range needs them? I've seen reproductions of them but never the real thing. Can you tell the maker from the top view? Oh so many questions.
The top had the striation marks commonly found on Winchesters also but they are worn and tougher to see in the cameras lens. I paid $900.00 shipped for a good friend who died in February of this year at 49 from Leukemia. I had found him allot of rare parts over the years but just before he died I found 3 that he almost quit collecting over. It was a shame as he was notified that he had Leulemia and passed 21 days later.
These were found only on the Educational Winchesters but when they stopped no one knows. It has been thought maybe 100 to 200 may have had them if even that many. Rick B
Above I was talking about the time frame for Winchester only. The SA ones I am not sure of and there has to be someone with more know on them that can answer. Rick B
My handguard pliers wont work on that one!
