Hello all,
I have recently acquired a Lee Enfield No4 MK2. It is good condition and has a new barrel fitted.
Can anyone help me identify the year of manufacture and the factory it came from? The serial Number is PF196138.

On the surface from what you've provided as info, your rifle sounds like an FTR'd Fazakerley, but pics and more information on rifle markings etc., would be helpful.

On the side of the action is written:
No4MK2 (F)
/50 PF196138
On the top of the Chamber is stamped:
S with a stricked through cross
