At first glance, the first shot looked like someone found a launcher embedded in a plank. :madsmile:

I thought the same thing.
It looks like a M7A3 for the M1 rifle. That's the most common post war M1 rifle launcher. They go for 35-55 bucks around here. They are unlawful in kalifornia.
Embedded in a plank? Are you :cool: It is laying on the wrapper it was in.
It belongs to my cousin who found it in my 92 year old uncle's house. He was a First Lt in WW2. He is looking for info on it. He doesn't have a garand. He, as I, collect carbines.
Who said it was in Kalifornia? I just happen to live there is all. I know, can't wait to move either. Retire next year. :super:
You are correct Tom. Marked Acme 7266167 on the right side and Launcher Grenade M7A3 on the left side. Unused condition.
