Help ID handguard, please

My new Bavarian (NPM) arrived and is almost correct in every respect. It has correct Trimble stock but I can't nail down the handguard that is on it. It is 2 rivet, deep sight groove, and handstamped by the Bavarians with the receiver SN. The only other stamping is a capital "A" on the inside on the curve at the bottom. I've never seen before. It matches the stock perfectly.
THe NPN SN is 1515XXX.
Can anyone ID this handguard for me????

Milling style looks like a possible Winchester to me.
Many of there's could be found with a letter stamped inside.
Sometimes stamped with the tiny W sometimes not.
Even found stamped with the W they can be hard to find. Much like the tiny TN markings.

It doesn't have the bullnose appearance I normally associate with Winchester guards. Were some of their early ones without the blunt nose?

The bullnose was pretty early. Often rare to come across. I'd be looking close on the same edge that the partial serial number is on for the W. Some were barely 1/8" tall.
Cleaning the bottom and looking at it from a few different angles may help.
May not. There are times you can stare at it so long.......you'll swear it's there or something is.
Remember many weren't marked.

Here's a few pictures of WRA's milling style on a HG. It is alot like that found on TN and some others.
This one has no letter in the bottom like yours. But I've seen many WRA HG's with the added letter.
Notice the 2 big milling cuts very much like yours.
I haven't taken the time to compare this on all the makers, but on WRA Hg's the last circular cut is on the outside edge.
Also how tiny the W is.

I think I am convinced it is WRA. Will clean the flats and see if anything appears. Sure is a nice match to the stock. Not looking fwd to finding a NPM to match as well. Oh well, so it goes.....

If your Bavarian has matching numbers stamped in the usual places. I'd strongly consider keeping the same parts (HG) on it.... etc. Keeping it in the condition returned and showing use by the Bavarians and their style of record keeping.

It might just be my tired eyes........but it looks like you may have a sideways W stamped under your 3rd number. If you click the bar to increase the pic I posted of yours.
Don't often see a W stamped there and it may not be......but sorta looks like one.
