I was at Gender Mountain today and I saw an A2 in the used gun rack. It did not look like it had been fired. They wanted $699.99 for it.
I am sure it is in 7.62x39.
I believe that Gander will transfer the firearm to another Gander store if somebody wants to examine it. The store at the Millcrrek Mall in Erie Pa, presently has the rifle. FYI....
It'll sell, and the lucky guy that has it will be glad in a few years.
The lets rubber inner tubes in from Viet Nam, so what's the deal with the rifles? (Check out Home Depot inner tubes if you don't believe me!)

Gday! I have a No4 MKIV T* M10 that has a 24mm barrel, experimental alluminium L42A1 bedding, full wood, all floated back to the reciever, Teak stock is the only thing from Vietnam, to b honest, it could be from PNG as well as that is a place they source timber. A splendidly accurate rifle. I dont use mne much as it is number 14 out of 25 ever made in the T* setup. It is as accurate asthe original, if not more so with match grade ammo. Id buy that little AIA at the drop of a hat in 7.62x39, pretty practical and just pretty. These rifles are all milled, manufactured from a 50% thicker recievr stock, target grade c/lined bores, savage style locking ring and made completly and fully in Brisbane, NOT vietnam. I have sent my rifle back to them and the boss is the only one allowed to touch it for upgrades, it was a prototype and very weighty hence low build numbers. It weighs 8kg, calls it his "golf buggy baby"
In reality, my mk1 boys anti tank rifle needs a golf buggy. Its a great rifle though, so i drag it around...As for trade from Australia, nip over to Canada, they certainly have AIA products at Marstar.
Marstar and Wolverine, both have AIA products. The problem here is that when their gone, that's it no more. We also had the tinfoil hat jobs crying about the safety of the AIA rifles because supposedly the receivers were made in Viet Nam as well.
Wolverine Supplies has the M10 in 762x39 for $777C. That's a good price here. The rifles were supposedly from the batch that was sent to the US and disappeared after the original buyer didn't pay for them, for whatever reason.
I don't know this and I am only repeating a rumor that the president of AIA isn't doing well health wise and the supply of AIA rifles will dry up after existing stocks are make up.
My M10B2 is one of the most accurate out of the box rifles I've owned or shot. It easily matches most custom buils as well. My only issue with it is weight. Definitely not a rifle you pack on a hunt.
Have shot bearhunters .308 and am anxiously waiting for him to get the "39". My ammo, his gun and we are going to have a riot. I expect the 39 will be a great shooter. Being semi-retired now has really put a damper on my addiction to buying every gun I like. Oh well, just have to keep in the good books with bearhunter.

By the way, these rifles aren't exactly in every gun shop in Canada. Wolverine Supplies has all of them for commercial sale at the moment. There were less than 60 rifles brought in and put up for sale.
